Miltown Students rewarded for their Entreprise

Mr. Tierney’s 5th Year Economics Class

The 5th Year Economics class undertook a project titled the “Regeneration and Promotion of Business in Killorglin”. The students project concerned turning the Old Mill in Killorglin into a Puck Museum including a gift shop and coffee shop. The students worked very hard on this project and were rewarded by winning 1st prize at the Student Enterprise Awards in conjunction with the Bank of Ireland. They received a trophy along with an iPad and are going on a trip to UCC to hear a lecture on Economics.

The students decided to raffle off the iPad along with a signed Kerry jersey in aid of the Donal Walsh #livelife Foundation.

Two second year students also received a prize at the Enterprise Awards with their product “Parrabuddies”
