Mike Hughes in Miltown

We were truly honoured on Tues 12th April 2016 when world renowned author and facilitator, Mike Hughes, gave his first workshop in an Irish school, here at Presentation Secondary School, Miltown.

We were joined by teachers from St Colmcille’s, Community School, Knocklyon, Dublin who are also working on developing The Magenta Principles and peer coaching. It was an inspiring and thought-provoking day of discussion, debate and dialogue around key learning and teaching principles.

Having kindly accepted a return invitation to work with Mike at St Colmcille’s, Knocklyon in May, we continued to develop these principles and our coaching skills through our in-school Learning & Teaching Team.

On Thursday 1th September Mike returned to Miltown. On this occasion a further 15 staff members participated in The Magenta Principles workshop. Sincerest thanks to Mike for another challenging, thought-provoking, enriching and inspiring day of dialogue.
